The saffron opening is beautiful – warm and rich without screaming "LOOK AT ME." There's lavender in there too, which sounds weird on paper but somehow keeps everything balanced and wearable.

Then the oud comes through. And listen, I've smelled a LOT of oud – the synthetic garbage, the okay stuff, the really good stuff. This is the really good stuff. It's some of the finest I've come across. It's deep and complex but not that medicinal, bandaid-y oud that can be too much. This is what real oud should smell like.

The base is where I completely lost it. Patchouli is my weakness, and the way it blends with the musk here is just chef's kiss. Earthy, warm, grounding – and it lasts FOREVER. I'm talking next-day-on-your-skin kind of lasting.
